• Language support
  International Foundation Programme provides Russian language support for those students who do not meet language entrance requirements. During one year you will study the Russian language and a get a professional training in a range of specialized subjects you are to take when you are in your major.
  
• International cooperation
  We are open to any kind of partnership with international institutions and universities on an independent basis, as well as within the framework of such programmes as Socrates, Erasmus Mundus, Tempus, etc. We are eager to establish longstanding relationships to promote international links between universities and institutions in the form of student and faculty members exchange, experience dissemination and scientific collaboration.

  At the present moment International Relations Department is looking for partners to work out a JEP-proposal within the framework of Tempus programme in the sphere of University Management and within the framework of various INTAS programmes.
  

A warm welcome to the International Relations Department

Founded in 1992, the International Relations Department has been educating international students at SUSU. It does not only offer a wide range of specialties for foreign students, but also provides support in the form of the Russian language courses, accommodation, insurance, international student advice, Alumni and other support. The Department exercises international activity in the sphere of effective collaboration with foreign universities and colleges on the basis of the University and various scholarship and grant programmes.

The translation agency of the Department, «Terra Lingva», offers high quality translation and interpreting services.

Language support

International Foundation Programme provides the Russian language support for those students who do not meet language entrance requirements. During 6, 12 or 18 months you will study the Russian language and a get a professional training in Russian in a range of specialized subjects you are to take when you are in your major: Physics, Mathematics, Foreign Languages, Geography, Social Studies.

International Relations Department also carries out the testing of Russian as a foreign language, TORFL (all levels) which is necessary to enter and graduate from or take a Degree at any Russian institution of higher education.
